Following their participation in the Ignite Workshop, a focused and intensive selection process was conducted to identify students for Cohort-4 of the Pratibha Poshak program. Out of 3,569 workshop attendees, 350 students were shortlisted based on their performance and potential. These students underwent a rigorous evaluation process that included telephonic interviews and, where necessary, home visits to understand their personal and financial circumstances better. The final selection was made through a holistic assessment, which took into account not only academic performance but also financial need, commitment, and family background.
Students selected for Cohort-4 are now part of a dedicated support ecosystem. During half-day induction programs held at multiple district locations, each selected student is provided with an internet-enabled Tablet PC equipped with parental control features to promote safe and effective digital learning. With their induction into the program, these students become full-fledged members of the Pratibha Poshak Cohort-4, gaining access to structured academic support, regular mentoring, and the tools they need to excel in their educational journey.
